Focus on your business!

Are you working on or in your business?

I’ve just come to the end of another term of the Macclesfield Women in Business Coaching Group and it’s a good time to reflect on what makes it an amazing experience for the participants (and also for me!)

According to the members the group, formerly known as the Macclesfield Bird Table, provides a unique, supportive, challenging, confidential and safe environment for women business owners to focus on their business and their goals.

What is the Macclesfield Women in Business Coaching Group?

Each Macclesfield Women in Business Coaching Group is a business development group for women in SME, in and around Macclesfield, run by professional coach, Sian Rowsell. Women entrepreneurs from diverse company types – from brand new micro businesses to well-established businesses and second or third businesses – share ideas, challenges and experience.

My role is to facilitate a coaching environment, to help my members to ask each other great coaching questions and to keep each other on track to reach their objectives.

Together we create a safe, confidential environment where it’s OK not to be the ‘polished you’. You don’t need to sparkle and shine like in networking!

Don’t just take it from me…

…this is what the Macclesfield members have to say:

Focus on your business:

“After only one session my mind felt less cluttered. Really looking forward to the next meeting and would highly recommend to any woman in business that needs a safe place to refocus your thoughts.”

“Really helped me get where I am and focus and support me on my journey. I have a clear idea now of what I need to do”

“Working with Sian really helped me focus on areas of my life and business I wanted to improve. With Sian’s help I gained greater insight into these areas, helped me break a larger action plan into smaller, manageable actions and held me accountable to sticking to my plan! Sian helped me feel more confident, accomplished and positive about my business which in turn helped me tackle bigger goals that I’d been putting off for ages. Thanks for getting me on the right track!”

Hold each other accountable:

“I felt held accountable to doing things but not in a pressurised way.”

“The accountability was best – it kickstarted me to get a whole load of things done – I’ve done my actions straight away”

Grow your business with new thinking:

“It definitely made me look at my outlook, myself and my approach to my business in a different way. I’ve taken some stuff on board that will make me do things differently over the coming months – I wouldn’t have done that without you”

“It worked really well for me – I realised that I did need people around. It allowed me to think straight about my business”

“When you work on your own feedback doesn’t happen. Sometimes you need help to clarify your thoughts or to inspire or question..the Bird Table led by Sian was just this.. I will be back at a later stage for another session. Thanks again and luck and success to all at the Macc Birds”
